Dark Nature

Just this one night
some universe
or two
overlaps

limitless galaxies align

From horizon to zenith
capped
a wrap around our shoulders

Below us
cross-legged on jumbled ground
the earth strengthens

Symmetry
billows into enchanting sky
streams through layer
on layer
of stellar dimension

Draped from village to coast
strands of silk
youthful wonder hunkers down
among crumpled shadows

The tide
breaks stone
to sand
