Decision

He decided to click his fingers
and do as he felt
without any conscious intention
but his wide-boy inner voice
let him know exactly what was going on
So he replied, no I'm not
but we all know, yes you are
and if you really think
you can drop all your stuff
well, we'd all like things to be easy
and the alternative is unthinkable
but maybe the real question
–and it is the question
you should always ask–
is why is this being written down?

Dead periods, not blank, but hazy, dark
